About Us!

My name is Brittany Glass, and I am the President of KINDkamp. Our vision is a world where young girls embrace their individuality while supporting each other as they apply themselves toward improving and developing internally and externally. We wish to inspire young girls to lead from a place of confidence, self-awareness, independence, and individuality while educating them on feminine health and wellness.

Our nonprofit was birthed after I noticed there was a void in our communities. There aren't any programs that are truly helping young girls prepare for the influx of hormones they are receiving on top of their ever changing bodies. The boys who once had "cooties" are now looking "kind of cute". They are approaching the start of their menstrual cycles and the increased hormones that come with that and they are starting to develop breasts along with some other changes in their body chemistry. But that isn't all, social media has projected this image of "perfection" on our young kids. The amount of adolescents that battle with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts continues to rise.

They are in need of a community of women who help them embrace their natural, beautiful selves with all of their quirks so that they can love themselves and others. We have created an environment that sets them up for success when it comes to those things along with what to expect and how to manage their menstrual cycles and their personal health and hygiene.

This year's Kamp will be held on August 1-2, 2025, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in Columbus, Ohio. Our Kamp is tailored toward girls between the ages of 8 to 15. Throughout the day we will host a series of courses on topics including menstrual cycles, self-esteem, nutrition and fitness, mental health, bullying and the importance of sisterhood.

Our goal for this Kamp is that every girl leaves feeling beautiful, confident, comfortable in their own skin, supported, and educated on how to take care of their personal health and hygiene. We want them to feel like they have gained a network of sisters and mentors and that they can stand in their own lane and not conform to what their peers think is cool. We want them to know that they don’t have to try to fit into the mold that everyone else is trying to fit into. We want them to know that it is ok to embrace their own individuality.

We are currently seeking donations so that we can provide care packages for the girls on the day of the camp as well as food and snacks throughout the day. All donations would be greatly appreciated.  If you would like to begin this partnership with us and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at brittany@kindkamp.org.

Thank you in advance for your support!
