Our Story

In 2020, our founder- Brittany McDaniel was given a gift. This beautiful gift came in the form of a vision from God and He showed her a place where young girls could come together and learn about themselves, learn to be strong, and learn to lead. She saw girls from all walks of life hugging, holding hands, and laughing. She saw them learning, growing, and gaining confidence and independence. She saw them become successful. And strong. And happy.

Brittany immediately got to work to make that vision a reality and the amazing result is KINDkamp.

The word KIND comes from our desire to teach girls to be kind to themselves and others. We also strive to provide an environment that fosters Kindness, Independence, Nurturing, and Development. Kamp comes from our goal to have a full summer program (Kamps) as well as school programs (mini-camps).

During our kamps, we include a wide variety of courses and activities tailored around the topics of mental health, financial literacy, anti-bullying, personal hygiene, menstrual care, sisterhood, nutrition, career development, physical fitness, and much more. Our programs continue to evolve as needs surface and support becomes available.

KINDkamp is a labor of love for all involved. It is our way of helping as many young girls as possible, providing the information they need in a loving and caring environment. Praise Be to God.
